一、人格完成に勤むること
Hitotsu! Jinkaku kansei ni tsutomuru koto.
Shtots! Jeenkaku kansay nee / sto muru koto. (Pronunciation)
To strive for the perfection of character. (Translation)
Seek perfection of character. (English version)


一、誠の道を守ること
Hitotsu! Makoto no michi o mamoru koto.
Shtots! Mahkoto no meechee o / mahmoru koto.
To protect/defend the paths of truth.
Be faithful.


一、動力の精神を養うこと
Hitotsu! Doryoku no seichin o yashinau koto.
Shtots! Do ryooku no saysheen o / yashinow koto.
To foster the spirt of excellence.
Endeavor to excel.


一、礼儀を重んずること
Hitotsu! Reigi o omonzuru koto.
Shots! Ray gi o / omonzuru koto.
To honor the principles of etiquette.
Respect others.


一、血気の勇を戒むること
Hitotsu! Kekki no yu o imashimuru koto.
Shtots! Keh’ key no you o / imashimuru koto.
To guard against impetuous behavior.
Refrain from violent behavior.
